Ke Lan said in his speech that the establishment and launch of the family medicine training base marks the entry of the medical and health care industry in the Macao SAR into a new stage of development, reflecting the overall deployment of the SAR government in the training of medical talents, the construction of a healthy Macau and the promotion of regional cooperation, and will strengthen the community-focused grassroots medical network to promote the forward movement of the disease prevention barrier. At the same time, give full play to the institutional advantages of the Macao Special Administrative Region's "one country, two systems" to integrate the resources of the Greater Bay Area, and promote regional medical resources complementarity and innovative cooperation.
"Family medicine follows the three principles of comprehensive service, continuity and coordination, which will help reduce hospitalization and mortality." Saiya Piukara pointed out that the establishment of a family medicine training base in Macau is in line with the goal of the "Healthy Macau Blueprint". The World Health Organization will continue to cooperate with Macau to jointly strengthen the health system and achieve universal health coverage.
Huang Lei emphasized that the Mainland and the Macao Special Administrative Region have a deep foundation in cooperation in the field of health and health and have achieved fruitful results. The unveiling of the "Family Medical Training Base" provides a new carrier for exchanges between the two sides, and will further strengthen elderly health services and family doctor training, and jointly develop solutions that meet the characteristics of grassroots health services.
